James is an MBA-educated professional with over 20 years of experience living and working in Japan, drawing on a career spanning investments, consulting, and technology to bring real-world depth to every lesson.
He teaches students of all backgrounds — children at international and Japanese schools in Tokyo, returnee kids, adult professionals preparing for global roles, and online learners across Asia. His approach is structured, personalized, and direct: he adapts everything to the student, not the other way around.
